"The Listeners" was drawn in an 18-hour window purely on
Facebook, via
Graffiti, a Flash-based web drawing applet. It's a 24-Hour comicbook via Facebook.
Each image, left across 24 Facebook friends' walls, is independently replayable. You can see every stroke used to make every drawing. As such, there is an extra layer of Easter Eggs.
The replays are a cross between invisible ink, alt text, and director commentary. Some sentences are written and then covered up, written and unwritten.
Notes appear about the story, notes about who is who and what is what, notes about what music was playing at the time of the drawing, and occasionally tiny bits of subtext that are part of the story but not visible in the final frame.
